PLAY AND EARN NFTs
All Magic Chess Online creations are NFTs to be won in the game. This can be avatars, chests, pieces, and much more. This new and innovative approach to chess games aims to create digital collectibles that players can exchange with each other.
NFTs are kept in a custodial wallet. Consequently, Magic Chess Online holds private keys for its players. The latter can never lose their private key and it's really easy to use but they will not really own their funds. However, the players will also be able to create or connect a non-custodial wallet to get all NFTs and tokens on it. In that case, all assets stored on the custodial wallet will be sent to this non-custodial wallet.
Earn NFTs season chess sets
Every chess pass, a new season chess set is released. The pieces of this set are also NFTs. To obtain the season chess set, players must purchase chests that contain random NFTs pieces. Once minted, these pieces and their board can be played or exchanged in the marketplace.
NFTs pieces are generated only for the duration of the chess pass (3 months), after which the number of pieces will be limited. No more pieces will be generated on this chess set, and the only way to get it will be the market!
Before each game, players can select their favorite "season" pieces, and play with them!

Each chess set consists of six pieces and one board.
Pawn
Knight
Bishop
Tower
Queen
King
These NFTs pieces are composed of four specific parts: pedestal, common to each piece, and three other specific elements determined by the type of piece. It can be a helmet, armor, weapon, etc. For each part, there are five particularities with a level of rarity: Classic, Common, Uncommon, Epic, Legendary
When an NFT piece is generated, all these parts will be randomly determined. You can get a piece composed of a legendary weapon, a classic helmet, an epic shield and an uncommon pedestal.
Moreover, each piece will be made with one material according to five materials also depending on rarity :
Classic - Whitewood, black wood
Common - White stone, black stone
Uncommon - White iron, black iron
Epic - White gold, yellow gold
Legendary - White diamond, black diamond
Forge your NFTs pieces to have a better one
All pieces in Magic Chess Online can be forged. Two choices are proposed :
THE FOUNDRY:
To get a better piece of your chess set season, you will have to sacrifice some of them to forge a new one (burn five NFTs to mint a new one).
FORGE SYSTEM:
To upgrade a legendary piece of your thematic chess set, you will have to merge two legendary pieces of the same level.
CHEST DISTRIBUTION
To generate a new NFT piece, players will be have to open chests. These chests can be won or bought five types of chests.
Basic - Earn an NFT piece with all random material and random parts.
Common - Earn a common, uncommon, epic, or legendary NFT piece with random parts.
Uncommon - Earn an uncommon, epic, or legendary NFT piece wand random parts.
Epic - Earn epic or legendary NFT piece with random parts.
Legendary - Earn a legendary NFT piece with random parts.
The rarer the chest, the more valuable it becomes. Chests will be buyable thanks to soft currency and hard currency or winnable thanks to the chess pass.

The rarity percentage of each part is the same for all chests ( 55%, 28%, 12%, 4%, 1%)
