Ranked modes

In Magic Chess Online, ranked is a competitive game mode where players face each other to obtain a rank that reflects their skills. They will be able to improve their ELO score, unlock the 11 rankings and claim the title of world championship contender.

The 11 rankings are :

Matchmaking Rating is based on:

  • The relative skill levels of the players in the game.

  • Whether or not the player won the match.

  • Abandoning a match or inactivity are all included.

  • Connection issues are considered as a loss but not as a win if the player won.

  • When the internet connection is lost and then restored, the player is given the option to rejoin the match instead of taking the penalty.

Ranked features 11 skill ranks. These ranks are determined by a player's ranking score.

Classic mode and Blitz mode are both available in Normal and Ranked mode.
